MemoryWare Letter

Saturday, September 19, 2009

Memoryware Letter Memoryware is so much fun to do… easy, fast & anything goes! It is to mosaics what crazy quilts are to quilting. We will cover the top of letter (approx. 8”) of your choice with practically anything you want as long as we can make it stick & get it done before the mortar dries. The idea behind Memoryware is to take all of those little bits and pieces of your life that you have tucked away in the bottom of drawers and boxes and combine them in one fantastic piece of folk art. We will have plenty of shells and broken bits of china available from the Studio China Pile for you to use on your project but you must bring in your own trinkets to make it your own! The materials fee only covers one letter but I will have extra available for an additional $9.00 per letter. If you work fast you could spell out a word! This project makes a great graduation gift.

There are tons of beautiful colors to choose from! If you are a fast worker you can probably make more than one letter. Each additional letter will be $8.00. Please note I may not have every single letter of the alphabet available at class time so it is important that you register early for this class and let us know which letter(s) you will be using.
